My Reaction 7

Today I began to read chapter 3 on happiness book. The most striking quote that I read today is  that  "the great end of all human industry is the attainment of happiness. For this were arts invented, sciences cultivated, laws ordained, and societies modeled." (Page32, the British Philosopher David Hume argues that). The interesting things for me in   this quote is that the importance of  the human being that everything is assuring his or her happiness.
